Baby, baby, ohhhhh baby! I do not joke that when I say my newborns come at the same time….my newborns all come at the same time! Knox was first of THREE sweet baby boys in one weekend. And, boy were they all so very sweet!
First time meeting mom and dad, but lucky me I get to spend lots of time with them over Knox’s first year. Really looking forward to that!

Some of you know what this is ALL about. However, I am fully aware that there are lots of folks ‘new to the party’ so, let me get you up to date on what this whole Clients Favorite thing is all about. Back in December when I was brainstorming what new things to offer, possible contests, etc I decided that I wanted to do something a little different. How could I give back to my clients? How I could benefit from the contest? Not in a bad way, by the way…in a way that could help me grow. Grow as a photographer. What do my clients really like? And, a pleasant surprise so far is their favorite is usually mine. You know what that means…I am working with the kind of clients I want to be working with!! I am so very blessed.
So, Clients Favorite was born. My clients receive the images on a disc why would they care about this? Well, not all clients print their images BIG…and, I am totally going to say this…THEY ARE MISSING OUT. A coffee table framed image is great, but a big ‘ole 11×14+ image beautifully framed on your wall..well, it’s ART. SO, every month every single client I work with gets to choose one FAVORITE image from their session. And, for two days folks vote {VIA HERE ON THE BLOG BELOW} for their favorite. Whomever receives the most votes gets an 11×14 print from ME for FREE. Yep, that simple.
HOW TO VOTE — scroll ALL the way to end of this blog where it directs you to comment. Enter in your information and in the box where it says “comment” write your choice (i.e. #55 has my vote because it makes me smile). EASY!!!

I am just a *little bit partial to this party of 3. Just a little. Beautiful momma Susie has become a very close friend of mine who I love dearly. Dad is pretty awesome, too!! And, sweet Sofia…golly gee….doesn’t get much cuter I tell you WHAT.
Every single session I have had with this sweet family has been held at the same place and around the same time of day. Always at their home and in their backyard. And, every time it has worked perfectly for what we were going for. Susie gets my style. I get Susie’s style. It just clicks. She doesn’t think too hard about props and stuff. And, I just photograph them as they are. Beautiful and Happy. SRP dream.
Thankful for warmer weather, golden sun, greener trees and big beautiful genuine smiles.
The big ONE is next. And, I just can’t talk about it…..

I have TOO many babies turning ONE. Too many. But, lucky for me lots of these sweet babies have siblings on the way!! Yes, beautiful ZO is going to be a big sis to a baby sister in a few months!! Can NOT wait!
First thing Carli said to me was “wait until you see Zo’s hair right after she wakes up”. Hilarious and awesome. And, even more awesome that momma let’s her wild hair run free. I love that.
So, in the backyard we went and I got to make little bit laugh in her cute Minnie Mouse outfit, precious bathing suit, fun Lilly P dress and darling tutu!! Momma knows how to dress Zo, eh? So much fun.
Lucky me I get to see this sweet family again this weekend as they celebrate Zoey’s first birthday with family!! Just call me Aunt Sara. :)

Sweet Sweet Quiet Etta Claire is now ONE. I so enjoy my sessions with this little bug for many reasons. She is always so curious about me. But, after a few minutes pass she lets me in and allows me to see the true EC. Just warms my heart. She is such a kind and gentle soul. Such a perfect mix of mom & dad.
I met them out at her parents land late one Sunday and we drove back to where her grandparents lived. I love a location with lots of sentimental value. Especially connected to Grandparents.
I was thankful for a beautiful February day and a sweet beautiful girl to photograph!! I sure *hope to see them all again soon!

Hard to believe almost 9 month ago I would meet this precious girls mom & dad for the very first time. While snapping away and getting to know them throughout their maternity session I knew I was working with folks that quickly would become friends. They are precious precious people and just as beautiful on the inside as they are out. Couldn’t even imagine what their precious Vada would look like, but I had NO doubt she’d be adorable. Vada is now 6 months old…..and just as adorable as ever.
Woke up to this particular Sunday of shooting and weather was in the 60′s and the sun was SO bright. My kind of day. I knew I was in for a treat with the three sessions I had booked and I was right. Made me that more excited about what Spring as in store!! Lots of wonderful sessions I hope!
Anyway, we just had the best time. Little Vada is already crawling and pulling up. I am almost positive she will be running away from me at her 9 month session! Can’t wait!

Sweet Lily B is ONE. And, I can’t even believe it. And, she is b.u.s.y….HAPPY……silly lily!! I just adore her. Big Brothers Mack and Jacob are awesome too!!
I met this party of 5 at the Factory in Franklin early one Saturday afternoon. Had the best time making them all laugh and smile….and embarrassing Jacob …it’s easy to do at his age especially when you bring up GIRLS. I don’t get that age in front of me much, so it’s always fun when I do!
Anyway, I can’t believe a year has come and gone. I *hope to see this sweet family again soon!!

I just adore this family so I was SO happy to hear during Webb’s first year that he was going to be a BIG BROTHER. He was going to be 16 months older than little….so I know what crazy and awesome life momma was in store for. {My boys are 14.5 months apart btw}… So, he’s here. And, he’s precious. And, BIG BROTHER is happy to have a “friend”.
Meet Wesley. I was 2 for 2 on babies not wanting to sleep so I just went with it and tried to make it as much lifestyle as possible. And, I must say I am pretty darn happy with the results!
This sure is going to be a FUN and busy year photographing these two boys, but speaking from experience it’s going to be so awesome! Can’t WAIT!

Let me introduce you to one of the sweetest, most beautiful brand new baby girls I’ve met this year. Sweet Tilly. Almost two weeks late, but happy & healthy she is! First time meeting this family, but happy to say I will be spending lots of time with them over Tilly’s first year.
And, let me just say that Lil Miss gave me a run for my money in the “I can absolutely get your sweet baby to sleep no problem” promise. But, she finally gave in and did AWESOME! What a Princess.
Looking forward to watching Miss Tilley grow over her first year and getting to know her parents so much more!!

What an amazing day yesterday was for my dear friend Amber of Amber Housley!! She hosted her first ever AH Inspired workshop for 20+ other AHmazing women right here in Nashville!! Some with established businesses, some just starting out, some just about ready to take that leap………
I was lucky enough to be one of the speakers for her workshop along with 3 other incredibly wonderful women — Jessica of Jessica Bishop: Independent Stylist for Stella & Dot, Courtney of Pizzazzerie and Kelle Boyd of Ann Kelle!
It was a day of hopes, dreaming BIG, lots ‘o wisdom, new friendships…even a few tears and lots of hugs. Incredible day.
So very proud of Amber. She’s making her dreams come true and doing just ONE of the many things she does best…INSPIRING others.
Will you be one of the lucky ones and attend her next workshop? Just ask any of these other women and I bet you they will tell you it will be a day you will never forget. A day you wish you could do over and over again.
