Be you! That is the name of the game when it comes to this session and I hope for all future SRP sessions. I have a What to Wear on my blog and part of me wants to re-work the whole thing. I love giving some suggestions to clients on what to wear, but I have found that when people be themselves and dress how they would normally dress….it works! They are comfortable and it helps the session become a success.
Meet Nicole + Matt and their soon to be son Hunter! Precious and photogenic, eh? YES! I love that mom stayed simple. It worked with their personalities and the feel of the whole maternity session. I am GUILTY of over thinking outfits and then getting photos back and going…ugh….”that is so not me”. Don’t fall victim to that. Just because it worked for “her” doesn’t mean it works for “you”. Ya know?!
I had a big challenge this day because I was shooting two maternity sessions back to back. I am pretty big on folks photos not looking identical. Sure I have a formula and do some of the same poses, but I *try* to make them personal and unique every single session. I believe I succeeded and I am pretty darn happy with the results.
This next year sure is going to be awesome with all the sweet babies well on their way! Loving that I have lots of little friends expecting baby sisters or baby brothers. And, I am loving that I am meeting all of these new wonderful families! The SRP family is growing by the day and it’s just one awesome Blessing that I am SO very thankful for.
See you soon little Hunter! You and I are going to be the BEST of buds…you just wait!
